Jerry's Rothman Story - Double Knee Replacement

For 59 years, Jerry played basketball on some of Philadelphia’s grittiest blacktops. It was his passion, his lifeline, the connection to his youth. But as the years piled on, and his knees swelled up, Jerry’s days of knocking down jumpers were dwindling.

To combat the pain, Jerry tried it all – ice, heat, scopes, shots – but nothing seemed to stick. Eventually, when it became clear that knee replacements were his #1 option, Jerry turned to Rothman.

Now Jerry’s back on the playground, but in a completely different role – chasing down rebounds for his three lively grandsons. From hoops and soccer to Capture the Flag, Jerry has officially been brought out of retirement.
