Dr. Christopher L. Reeves is a nationally recognized, board certified Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgeon who has been serving Central Florida since 2004.  He provides comprehensive care for all ages and conditions affecting the foot and ankle and has specialized training and interest in complex reconstruction, lower extremity trauma, and total ankle replacement.  Dr. Reeves lectures nationally and publishes regularly on his reconstructive work.  He is the Medical Director of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery for AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute.

Dr. Reeves enjoyed a successful collegiate baseball career and completed his undergraduate education at Georgia College and State University.  He achieved his Master’s and Medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL.  Dr. Reeves completed his podiatric surgical residency in reconstructive foot, ankle, and lower leg surgery at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and further training for advanced deformity correction at the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopaedics in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Reeves is an active educator and leader in Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery and is the recipient of numerous professional awards.  He spent 10 years on the board of directors for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and served as President in 2018-2019. Additionally, he spent many years on the board certification examination committee with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.   Dr. Reeves is Faculty for both the AdventHealth Florida Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program as well as the AdventHealth Florida Orthopedic Residency Program. He currently serves on numerous committees and is the Chair of the National Podiatric and Orthopedic Surgical Task Force consisting of leaders from the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.

Since 2004, Dr. Reeves has been Faculty for the AdventHealth East Orlando Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program, and  serves as the Director of Research. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications in Foot and Ankle Surgery with recent publications and awards in total ankle replacement surgery.  He is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and has given hundreds of lectures on surgical topics around the globe. Additionally, he works on design teams developing innovative products involving the latest Total Ankle Replacement and Charcot deformity implants.

Dr. Reeves is married to Dr. Amber Shane and they have two active boys Brock and Chase.  He enjoys all things outdoors, including traveling with his family, golf and fishing.  He is a dedicated volunteer in youth athletics coaching baseball and football year round and also volunteers on the board of directors for Winter Park Babe Ruth baseball.

Brinda atención integral para todas las edades y afecciones que afectan el pie y el tobillo y tiene capacitación especializada e interés en la reconstrucción compleja. , traumatismo de las extremidades inferiores y reemplazo total de tobillo.  El Dr. Reeves da conferencias a nivel nacional y publica periódicamente sobre su trabajo reconstructivo.  Es el director médico de medicina y cirugía podológica del AdventHealth Orthopaedic Institute.

El Dr. Reeves disfrutó de una exitosa carrera universitaria en el béisbol y completó su educación universitaria en Georgia College y State University.  Obtuvo su maestría y título médico en la Facultad de Medicina Podológica de la Universidad Barry en Miami, FL.  El Dr. Reeves completó su residencia en cirugía podológica en cirugía reconstructiva de pie, tobillo y parte inferior de la pierna en el Hospital Western Pennsylvania en Pittsburgh, PA, y capacitación adicional para la corrección avanzada de deformidades en el Instituto Rubin de Ortopedia Avanzada en Baltimore, MD.

El Dr. Reeves es un educador activo y líder en cirugía podológica de pie y tobillo y ha recibido numerosos premios profesionales.  Pasó 10 años en la junta directiva del Colegio Americano de Cirujanos de Pie y Tobillo y se desempeñó como presidente en 2018-2019. Actualmente forma parte de numerosos comités y es presidente del Grupo de Trabajo Nacional de Cirugía Ortopédica y Podológica, compuesto por líderes del Colegio Estadounidense de Cirujanos de Pie y Tobillo, la Asociación Médica Estadounidense de Podología, la Academia Estadounidense de Cirujanos Ortopédicos y la Sociedad Estadounidense de Cirujanos Ortopédicos de Pie y Tobillo.

Desde 2004, el Dr. Reeves ha sido profesor del Programa de residencia en medicina y cirugía podológica de AdventHealth East Orlando y se desempeña como director de investigación. Es autor de más de 40 publicaciones revisadas por pares en cirugía de pie y tobillo con publicaciones recientes y premios en cirugía de reemplazo total de tobillo.  Es un orador reconocido a nivel nacional e internacional y ha dado cientos de conferencias sobre temas quirúrgicos en todo el mundo. Además, trabaja en equipos de diseño que desarrollan productos innovadores que incluyen los últimos implantes de reemplazo total de tobillo e implantes para deformidades de Charcot.

El Dr. Reeves está casado con la Dra.
