Dr. Greg Kirwan is a board certified, fellowship trained physician specializing in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery. He is passionate about providing personalized care that considers each patient’s needs, while treating the full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Kirwan’s area of expertise includes total ankle replacement, complex deformity reconstruction with novel 3D printed patient specific implants, bunion correction, fusion surgery, and sports injuries of the foot and ankle. He has served as orthopedic foot and ankle consultant for several Division 1 universities’ sports teams.
Dr. Kirwan grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He then attended the United States Naval Academy for his undergraduate studies, where he was a member of both the Navy Football team and Rowing team. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy for 5 years, earning 7 medals and commendations during his service. He completed medical school and orthopedic residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by his fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Kirwan is currently a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Orthopedic Academy of Orthopedics.
