Dr. Mullins is a fellowship trained Primary Care Sports Medicine physician. She utilizes non-surgical treatments to address musculoskeletal injuries, focusing on helping patients of all ages stay active, reduce reinjury risk, and achieve peak performance.

She utilizes musculoskeletal ultrasound to diagnose orthopedic conditions and to aid with proper needle placement during injection therapies, including corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, and platelet-rich plasma.

She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.  Her post graduate training includes completion of residency in Family Medicine at Ohio State University and Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Emory University.

Dr. Mullins currently serves as the team physician for Orangewood Christian School. She has previously provided medical coverage for the Orlando Guardians, Orlando Predators, Georgia Tech Athletics, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Fan Controlled Football League, UTR Pro Tennis Tour, NSAF Outdoor Nationals, and the Walt Disney World Marathon.

She is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Mullins has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on a range of sports medicine topics including the prevention of sport-related injury in youth athletes, concussion management, exercise prescription, and exercise physiology.

Dr. Mullins enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog Rocky. She also enjoys traveling, golfing, and following IndyCar racing.

La Dra. Mullins es médica con capacitación becada en la atención primaria de medicina deportiva. Utiliza tratamientos no quirúrgicos para una variedad de lesiones y afecciones musculoesqueléticas. Sus intereses clínicos incluyen la prevención de lesiones en atletas jóvenes, las lesiones por sobrecarga, la conmoción cerebral, la medicina del tenis y el tratamiento de lesiones por estrés óseo. Está capacitada en el uso de la ecografía musculoesquelética para diagnosticar afecciones ortopédicas y para guiar la colocación correcta de la aguja en inyecciones terapéuticas, incluyendo las de corticosteroides, de ácido hialurónico y de plasma rico en plaquetas.
