Dr. Sodha is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and followed with a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the Harvard Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
Before joining Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Sodha developed an extensive practice in the New York Hudson Valley, directing the hand and elbow trauma service of the regional hospital for 10 years. He specializes in the treatment of hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions. He offers cutting edge treatment options, both surgical and nonsurgical, for a multitude of ailments including fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s disease, arthritis, nerve, tendon and ligament injuries, and more. Some of these include endoscopic carpal tunnel release, wrist and hand arthroscopy, joint replacement/reconstructive surgery as well as injectable collagenase treatment for Dupuytren’s disease.
Dr. Sodha strives to individualize treatment for each of his patients using minimally invasive approaches to care for a broad spectrum of problems of varying complexity.
