Dr. Kwan is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. Her clinical interests include fracture and reconstructive surgery, as well as peripheral nerve surgery including nerve repair and transfer.

She received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Medicine – Bradenton and completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Jefferson Health – New Jersey. Following residency, she completed her fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

Dr. Kwan remains active in research with over 30 peer reviewed publications and numerous book chapters. She has been part of over 90 poster and podium presentations at national orthopedic meetings, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association for Hand Surgery.
