Dr. Prochnow is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the expert diagnosis and treatment of a broad array of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from arthritis and joint injuries to fractures. In addition, he has clinical interest in treating shoulder problems such as rotator cuff tears, arthritis and fractures.
Dr. Prochnow graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and followed with an orthopaedic residency at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Michigan. He thereafter completed his fellowship training in orthopaedic spine surgery at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.
He has since been serving patients in the field of orthopaedics for over 20 years. His treatment philosophy is to provide patients with an individualized approach while concentrating on making the patient feel confident and comfortable.
