Hand Therapy
Hand therapy involves evaluating and treating upper extremity injuries (shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand) using various interventions to restore function. Hand therapists, typically occupational or physical therapists, provide non-operative interventions, preventative care and post-surgical rehabilitation. They are skilled in treating upper extremity conditions resulting from trauma, overuse, deformity, or disease.
