I was faced with emergency spinal surgery at the age of 40, and being a normally healthy and fit person was terrified and had no time to prepare myself mentally for the surgery. After meeting Dr. Guy Lee i broke into tears (I'm pretty sure I grabbed his arm from my hospital bed) because i felt so much relief in getting a surgeon that i had so much confidence in. His overwhelming compassion for my situation struck me, this is not something you find in physicians. He moved mountains to perform the surgery for and even came into the hospital on his day off to operate. My recovery was exactly as he predicted, even though i was cynical and in pain, I trusted him and was patient and everything panned out exactly as he said it would. I can't begin to thank him enough for helping me during this surprise crisis. I will recommend him to my dearest family and friends.
