Dr. Abdo Bachoura is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in the hand and wrist.  He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Hamot in Erie, PA and followed with a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Bachoura treats all conditions of the upper extremity with special focus on hand and wrist fractures and arthritis, nerve injuries, tendon injuries and Dupuytren’s disease.  He is active in orthopaedic research, having published a number of articles and book chapters on surgical techniques, technologies and outcomes of the hand and wrist.  He is a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

El Dr. Abdo Bachoura es un cirujano ortopédico capacitado que se especializa en la mano y la muñeca. Completó su residencia en cirugía ortopédica en la Universidad de Pittsburgh Centro Médico (UPMC) Hamot en Erie, Pensilvania y siguió con una beca en Cirugía de Manos y Extremidades Superiores en el Centro de Mano a Hombro de Filadelfia en Filadelfia, Pensilvania.

El Dr. Bachoura trata todas las afecciones de las extremidades superiores con especial atención a las fracturas de manos y muñecas y la artritis, las lesiones nerviosas, las lesiones de los tendones y la enfermedad de Dupuytren. Participa activamente en la investigación ortopédica y ha publicado varios artículos y capítulos de libros sobre técnicas quirúrgicas, tecnologías y resultados de la mano y la muñeca. Es miembro candidato de la Sociedad Estadounidense de Cirugía de la Mano y de la Academia Estadounidense de Cirujanos Ortopédicos.
