Dr. Clair is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with extensive training in hip and knee replacement.  He specializes in total hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as complex revision surgeries of the hip and knee.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital.  There, he was selected for the Clinician Scientist training tract, where he spent an extra year performing full-time orthopaedic research between his second and third years of residency training.

Dr. Clair continued his training with a fellowship in hip and knee reconstruction at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.  He trained with leaders in the field, participating in over 800 surgeries while there.

During his training, Dr. Clair received multiple awards for his research, including the Emil & Esther Bogen Research Award, an AAOS Game Changer Presentation distinction, and the Reicher Award for Basic Science Research.

Dr. Clair is a published physician and continues to be active in orthopaedic research.  He has particular interest in hip and knee arthroplasty outcomes, infection management in total joint arthroplasty, revision arthroplasty techniques, and same day/outpatient total joint arthroplasty.

El Dr. Clair es un cirujano ortopédico capacitado con una beca y una amplia capacitación en reemplazo de cadera y rodilla.  Se especializa en artroplastia total de cadera y rodilla, así como en cirugías de revisión complejas de cadera y rodilla.  Obtuvo su título de médico en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Cincinnati y completó su residencia en cirugía ortopédica en el Hospital Ortopédico Langone de la Universidad de Nueva York.  Allí, fue seleccionado para el programa de formación de Científico Clínico, donde pasó un año adicional realizando investigaciones ortopédicas a tiempo completo entre su segundo y tercer año de formación de residencia.
