- Sprain and Strain Treatment
Mild sprains and strains often heal with a short period of rest and protection using a brace or splint. Ice and anti-inflammatory medicine (if your medical history allows) may be helpful. More severe sprains sometimes require surgery. Please consult with a Rothman sports physician to see what the treatment options are for your particular injury.
