Urgent Care & Walk-In Centers
Rothman Orthopaedics is proud to provide local communities with several orthopedic-only walk-in centers and urgent care facilities. These specialized centers evaluate and treat acute musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, and tears in patients ages 8 years old and up.
In each clinic, orthopedic-trained physician assistants will evaluate your injury, develop a treatment plan, and put you on the road to recovery. If needed, an expedited follow-up appointment with an orthopedic physician will be scheduled at the location of your choice.
Please note, that for walk-in centers, referrals are required if indicated by your insurance plan.
Why Choose Rothman?

What To Expect
When you check-in at one of our walk-in centers or urgent care facilities, you will be evaluated by an orthopedic-trained physician assistant. He or she will examine you and order an X-ray if needed. X-rays are taken at the center and reviewed with you during your visit. If required, more advanced tests like an MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, or blood work may be ordered.
Once a diagnosis has been made, a treatment plan will be created. That plan may involve simple rest, splinting, bracing, physical therapy, or further work-up. Please note, insurance coverage for items such as braces and boots may vary. Select cortisone injections may also be offered for shoulder, elbow, hip and knee joints.
At the end of your visit, a follow-up appointment will be scheduled with the appropriate orthopedic specialist to ensure that your treatment is carried out and your symptoms resolved.
