Describe your experience.
As nervous as I was initially, the process that the doctor presented to me made me feel comfortable. Ultimately, making the decision to do the TAR surgery, was one that I am grateful for. The surgery was life changing, giving me my mobility back.
What would you recommend to patients considering treatment?
I would highly recommend that anyone seeking out next steps for their ankle injury, to contact Rothman right away. The overall experience was a pleasant one that has allowed me to get back to normalcy.

My Dad had a really good experience with his ankle replacement at Rothman. We also heard that Rothman had physicians who cared for high level athletes. Because I am a gymnast and wanted to continue in my sport, I knew Rothman was my best option.

From the first appointment to the final post op appointment, I knew I was in good hands at Rothman. They were knowledgeable, comforting and excellent in their care for me.

I would absolutely recommend Rothman to any athletes who need surgery. I am so happy that I was able to return to my level of competition and continue competing in college.
