George is always on the move. Between making the rounds as an electrician and playing a few more out on the golf course, George’s life demands mobility. But in December 2015, hip pain threatened to put him out of commission. He saw a specialist and got an injection, but his pain remained. He knew he needed something better.
His wife had had a successful spinal fusion surgery at Rothman, and on her recommendation he made an appointment. There, the doctors told him his hip was bone-on-bone and he would need a joint replacement.
Nine weeks after surgery, George couldn’t be happier. He found the hospital was excellent and the care was outstanding. He’s back working again and lighting up the links with even more energy than he had before, but as his wife had told him—with Rothman, that’s just par for the course.
