Florida Region of USA Volleyball Announces Rothman Orthopaedics as Official Sports Medicine Partner for Hickory Point Beach in Tavares, FL.

The Florida Region of USA Volleyball and Rothman Orthopaedics will partner for the 22-23 season.

The Florida Region of USA Volleyball is pleased to announce a new business partnership with Rothman Orthopaedic Institute for the upcoming 2022-2023 season. Rothman Orthopaedics will be the Official Sports Medicine Partner for events held at Hickory Point Beach in Tavares, FL,.  Rothman’s Nicole Wilson, M.D., fellowship trained Sports Medicine Physician will lead physician the partnership.  Rothman Orthopaedics will provide certified athletic trainers (ATCs) for all Florida Region hosted beach events as well as provide additional medical staff as needed.

Rothman Orthopaedics, founded in Philadelphia, expanded their specialized practice to Central Florida in partnership with AdventHealth in 2020.  They have a proud history of providing world-class care to athletes ranging from local high schools to professional sports & entertainment properties throughout Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. 

The Executive Director/President of the Florida Region, Steve Bishop, commented, “Rothman Orthopaedics is a well-known company with a stellar reputation in the medical community.  They have offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Florida.
