Nerd Street Gamers Partners with the Rothman Orthopaedics to Promote Gamers’ Health
PHILADELPHIA, JANUARY 21, 2020 -- Nerd Street Gamers, the national esports infrastructure company dedicated to powering competitive opportunities for gamers, today announced a partnership with Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, a world-leader in orthopaedic care, to promote healthy habits for gamers of all ages and skill levels. This strategic partnership is being launched alongside the Philadelphia Fusion, who has named Rothman Orthopaedics as their Official Team Doctor.
As the popularity of esports continues to rise, Nerd Street Gamers and Rothman Orthopaedics are dedicated to working together to educate parents, fans, and gamers about healthy gaming. A passion for esports can be discovered at a young age, and developing awareness as well as best practices around training, practicing, and competing is important for the growth and success of the industry.

Under the terms of the partnership, Rothman Orthopaedics will sponsor Nerd Street Gamers Summer Camp series. Rothman Orthopaedics physicians will also hold seminars on gamer health at the camps and at Nerd Street Gamers’ Localhost venues in the Philadelphia area. The Sessions will invite parents, gamers, and other interested individuals and organizations to hear from the experts about best practices for physical and mental health in gaming, and answer questions from the audience.
