Orthopaedic Integrative Health Center
The Orthopaedic Integrative Health Center is an evidence-based program that addresses orthopaedic inflammation, dysfunction, and pain. We consider lifestyle medicine and integrative factors that impact the entire person and their orthopaedic recovery.
Our goals are to:
- Optimize orthopaedic recovery with a customized, integrative plan
- Employ evidence-based ways to control pain without opioids
- Design integrative wellness plans to build orthopaedic health
- Develop prehab programs to recover better from orthopaedic surgeries
- Empower people to take charge of their orthopaedic care
We start by assessing an individual’s environment and lifestyle medicine factors. This assessment enables us to develop a customized wellness plan for each person. The personalized, integrative plan is created and reviewed during a 45-minute consultation with a double-board certified, integrative physician. The physician consultation is immediately followed by a visit with a nutritionist focused on an anti-inflammatory approach to food and a health-building lifestyle.
